USA Cares is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that assists post 9/11 military service members and their families to cope with the financial burdens resulting from their service to America. Here are just a few of the things they have done:
USA Cares has saved over 400 privately owned military family homes from foreclosure. The program offers budgetary counseling and negotiations with the mortgage holder to bring the account current. Additionally, USA Cares offers similar assistance to those military families facing eviction from rental properties.
USA Cares provides financially assistance to military service members in treatment for PTSD so they can concentrate 100% on therapy.
